Christian Education (LIFE) Program
Today Sunday School is still the largest ministry outside of Sunday morning worship. Throughout the USA, about 66 million attend Sunday School in all churches. We at Defenders believe God wants to transform people’s lives through the study and application of His Word. If Sunday School is, as some have stated, like a sleeping giant, it’s time to wake up! We at Defenders believe that the word of God at work in us leads us to a great LIFE. We introduce the Defenders LIFE Christian Education.
L - Learning Together
As children, youth, and adults study the Bible in Sunday School, they learn to use biblical principles as a moral compass to guide and protect them throughout everyday life.
I - Including All Who Come
Sunday School includes people of all ages and presents the gospel at every person’s level of understanding.
F - Finding Others Who Need to Know
Sunday School (when done well) prepares people to find others who need to know Jesus.
E - Emerging for Ministry
Sunday School prepares people for ministry, helping them discover and develop abilities to serve others.

God never intended for us to do life alone. Small Groups provide a safe place for you to circle up with friends to pursue God. God desires that we live in community where His truth collides with the realities of daily living. Don’t get lost in the crowd!
Healthy, long-term relationships make life work well. Being part of a network of good friends provides us with strength, confidence, and joy. Nothing else gives us such incredible, life-altering experiences as being deeply and positively connected with other people.
One of the easiest ways to find those people is in a New Life Group--a small group of people who share something in common along with a desire to learn and grow in their relationship to Jesus Christ. New Life Groups are formed to provide a place where YOU can belong, and grow with a group of friends.
Men’s Group
Men of Defenders! Whether it’s at a Saturday morning men’s breakfast, barbecuing, sports night or camping trip, men can find friendship, challenge and encouragement through the Defenders Men’s Ministry. We will grow spiritually and learn how to balance work and family life, become better fathers, build stronger marriages, and enjoy Christian fellowship.
Our goal is to give men an opportunity to discover a life of faith in Christ and then lead them to become fully devoted men.

Youth Ministry empowers young people to live as disciples of Jesus Christ in our world today. Young people are “searching for a noble adventure”, a compelling and challenging vision of life, and a cause worth their commitment. They hunger to hear the Good News that finds response in discipleship. Here at Defenders young people will enjoy high-impact services, life-changing small groups, and various social activities and projects held throughout the year. In addition, you will develop godly, lasting friendships with others, as well as an intimate relationship with Christ. Our youth services are held Friday’s at 7:30PM, and Every third Sunday of the month the youth lead our whole congregation in worship. Come check it out for yourself! Women
The Women’s Group is a group of women who together encounter God in His word, engage in community, and express God’s love to others. Spiritual growth happens most effectively at the intersection of our relationship with Christ and our relationship with others. Defenders Women set out to help women become ambassadors of Christ through building great relationships, discovering their full potential, and reaching out to those around them. Join experience life to its fullest.

Music
The purpose of this ministry is to praise and exalt God using the art named music. Mathew 4:10 encourage us to do so. The Worship Team leads the congregation in giving feelings of great respect and a feeling of pleasure and approval (a favorable feeling), and wonder to God. Worship, from the Old English weorthscipe means worthiness, acknowledgment of worth and this is the ministry’s purpose, to show worthiness and acknowledgment of worth to God.
One of the most important things we do at Defenders is to come together every week and experience the power of God’s presence. People from different backgrounds and generations join as one to engage in worship as a family. It is there that we are refreshed and realigned. From the place of corporate worship, we go into our homes, schools, and workplaces as carriers of the joy, hope, and life found in presence of God.
That’s what worship is all about. And that’s why the heartbeat of Defenders worship is to help people experience the presence of God and develop a life of worship. Every resource, every facet of our ministry is designed with that end in mind. Keep your heart open.
Children’s Ministry
Children are a promise of God! They are so important that the Lord has declared His Kingdom theirs! (Matthew 19:14). As important as they are God has entrusted them onto our hands. At Little People’s Church, we understand it is our duty to not only love these children but to also plant the seed of Jesus in their hearts. It is the parent’s duty to water that seed daily and it is God’s plan to fulfill His purpose onto their lives as they grow.
The nursery division is in charge of infants up until the age of 4 years old. Because prayer is key to a spirit led life, our class always begins with a small circle of prayer. Oh yes, these little ones do pray!
